“Carbon is formed under years of pressure, stress, and trauma and becomes a diamond—one of the strongest natural materials. Trauma may shape your experience, but it does not define who you are or what your life can become.”

Lynette is a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Certified Social Worker CSW who specializes in helping adults heal from trauma, PTSD, addiction, and sexual abuse. As a former U.S. Army combat medic, Lynette brings a grounded, real-world understanding of trauma and the lasting impact it can have on both the mind and body. She earned a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Leadership from Purdue Global and a Master of Social Work from Louisiana State University. With experience in substance use treatment settings, Lynette works with adults navigating addiction, co-occurring mental health concerns, and the effects of unresolved trauma, including individuals with traumatic brain injuries and military populations, including combat veterans. Lynette uses a trauma-informed, direct, and compassionate approach to therapy, incorporating evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-focused interventions. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and challenged in a meaningful way. Lynette believes healing happens when people are given the space to be real, the support to feel understood, and the tools to take their life back—on their own terms.

Outside of the therapy room, Lynette enjoys caring for her chickens, spending time with her service dog Bodin through play and training, exploring the outdoors, photography, and relaxing in her backyard while watching her children play.
