"When the power of love overcomes the love of power,
the world will know peace."
Jimi Hendrix
Ashlyn is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over seven years of experience supporting children, teens, families, adults, and the neurodivergent community. She earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Kentucky University in 2019. In addition to her clinical work, she serves as a supervisor and has held leadership roles focused on mentoring and supporting fellow clinicians.
She is trained in EMDR and deeply fascinated by the unique ways trauma shows up in people’s lives. Ashlyn is especially passionate about helping individuals with late-diagnosed neurodivergence better understand themselves, embrace their needs, and feel more at home in their own identity. She brings a flexible, personalized approach to therapy, drawing from person-centered therapy, DBT, CBT, psychodynamic work, and trauma-informed care—always tailoring the process to what feels most supportive for each person.
When she’s not in session, Ashlyn loves spending quality time with her husband and daughter, playing cozy video games, wandering in nature, and thrifting for hidden treasures. She became a therapist because she believes no one should have to feel alone in their struggles. Above all, she’s committed to creating a space where her clients feel truly accepted, heard, and understood.
